Half Day : The highlights of any visit to Egypt, for many people, is the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, where the Pharaohs, who loved life so much that they beleived it carried on in much the same way after death, built their tombs. They expected these tombs to last for eternity, and the tombs provide us today, with much information about life in ages past. You can still see the colors in some of the tombs, which remarkably seem as fresh as the day they were painted. The West bank of Luxor was considered as the Land of the Afterlife, and here you will find magnificient remains of mortuary temples, such as that of Queen Hatchepsut, one of the few women to rule as Pharaoh in her own right, and the villages where the ancient Egyptian workers lived as they built their Pharaoh's tomb. Elegant Voyage will be pleased to adjust timings according to clients needs, however, please note that duration of the tours can vary according to outside factors such as traffic, high volumes of tourists on the sites, etc.
